  • b)  “Ham y Huevos” (writings and such (Jottings))
  • Could be said to be an alliteration of the misplaced. , displaced or even poetical, type since it raises thoughts both translational and international.
  • c) “Idea Onomatopoeia”   Too much of a bad thing will spring to mind of many a cryptic with any sort of education when considering this one. My only excus e is that it did give rise to some single word stuff in (writings and such (Jottings)) . d) “Pretty Pretentious

  • ALLITERATION ATTEMPT (i) Readers will note from the last two words of the introduction that I have become more and more interested in, what my children and grandchildren inform me, is alliteration .This is the first two of these leading to posts or thoughts indicated.

Single Word Stuff (i)

  • a)    “Parapluie” Impression/feeling obtained when spoken by a French child or young woman it is rain rather than hail.
  • b)   “Zeit” When spoken by middle aged male Swiss railway porter. The soft” t” in front is essential for the full impression (rather than expression).
  • c)   “    别客气 or Bié kèqì “   becomes “bekootzee” in the smith phonetic. Truly subjective this one. Its use illustrates my wider definition of alliteration into correlation not just of spoken word but also of the  word to ideas, visualised impressions etc. For me it brings to mind the many smiling faces of friends Julie and I made in China and in particular the workers in the Quinsho factory acknowledging my response, whether appropriate or not, to whatever they said, or did, as they helped me in my work there. This one word plus some of the numbering remans my sole Chinese vocabulary.
  • d) (i) Mantequilla This gets butter really well when spoken at speed amid other words by soft voiced, slightly older, Spanish waitress. Must have made an impression on me since I got the spelling right first time ¿
  • e)  Somnolent Dead right for a sad faced lion, (Stanley Hollaway)
